Today’s Fitbloggin recap (yep, still talking about it!) is all about the highlights. These are a few of my favorite things from this year’s conference, besides our mental health session and the amazing people about which I already wrote.
Scavenger Hunting!
This was the first year of the scavenger hunt. The list was a bit daunting at first as most items required our entire 5-person team to be there. Turns out my team, #hashtagbacon, had a blast hanging out and doing the challenges. Most of them made us look ridiculous but it was hard to care.
We hummed the Mission Impossible theme song while acting like spies, in public.
I proposed to a girl in a candy shop and (bonus points) she said YES!
And lots more.
We ended up getting 2nd place (by ONE POINT!) so we missed out on the grand prize but I still think we did awesome. Thanks to dubyawife for organizing this!
Lip Syncing!
The Lip Sync Battle on Saturday night was sponsored by Jumpsport Fitness Trampolines and it was awesome. My scavenger hunt team decided to do the Bella Finale mix from Pitch Perfect. We split up the parts and ran through it about 3 times right before the battle started.
We KILLED it!

This was such a rush. The best part was how into it the crowd got. Everyone was cheering and dancing and going crazy! It was awesome.
We ended up winning the battle and each of us got a fitness trampoline! It totally made up for taking 2nd place in the scavenger hunt.
Seriously though, this team was such a blast. I love these awesome nerds. <3
Late Night Cards
I love me some card and board games. Friday night that was Cards Against Humanity in the hotel bar. We had three big tables playing and it was a good time.
Saturday night after the lip sync battle and dance party I played Fluxx with Meredith, Liz, and Ashley. It’s a super fun card game! I really enjoyed the small group time with these ladies.
